My November TBR

Happy November – how is it down to two months left of 2021?! Can someone possibly explain that? I had a good weekend full of downtime, but it flew by too fast much like the rest of October. I had a bit of a slow reading month in October, so I’m trying to take it a bit easy on my TBR this month… a bit!

I will be participating in the #NonfictionNovember #NonfictionBookParty hosted by @theocbookgirl so I’ve picked a few to nonfiction titles for my TBR this month in addition to my usual buddy reads. Hopefully I’ll have time to get to some of the spooky reads I didn’t quite manage in October as well! For my currently reading pick, I am listening to A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama along with the physical copy. I thought I would start off the month strong listening to our former president narrating his own story, a book I knew I was pretty much guaranteed to love. I got a bit of a head start on this one (it is 26ish hours on audio!) and I am about a third of the way through as of now.

In terms of other reads in progress, I am enjoying both NEXT DOOR by Kimberly Davis Basso which is a collection of spooky short stories which was prefect to start on Halloween night and THE LAST BLUE by Isla Morley which is a love story set in Appalachia involving a family where some members have blue skin.

I’ve included in my picture some of my nonfiction hopefulls for November. I don’t imagine I’ll get to all of these, but I am hoping to read as many of them as I can!

Not pictured, but also on my TBR this month:

What are you looking forward to reading in November? What nonfiction titles should I add to my TBR?
