Happy September all! I hope your month is off to a fantastic start! I am so excited for this month – both for the readathons I am participating in AND because I’m going to Italy at the end of the month! This is definitely going to slow my reading down at the end of the month, but I have high hopes for a big reading month at the beginning.
Dragon Kylee is here to announce our loyalty to the Black Dragons team for #Battleathon! This is a month long readathon in its inaugural year hosted by the always wonderful Mel @MelLenoreReads. The Black Dragons are being led into battle by @xxbeccabum and @spicykatz! There’s only one mandatory prompt at the beginning while we bond with our dragons and everything after that is about reading books you expect to love. It’s a competitive readathon and the higher you rate your reads, the more points your team gets! This means that I don’t have a ton of books picked out specifically for this readathon, but my team bonus prompt is to read authors I’ve previously given 5 stars to, so that will be on my mind as I mood read during the month!
The second readathon I’m participating in this month is #PickPongAThon hosted by Krystal @bon_bookreviews! I wound up with nine books on my TBR for this readathon which I think should be manageable and I did fairly well at trying to find books by previous five star authors to fit a lot of prompts.
Apart from these readathon priorities, I have a few buddy reads to squeeze in, but Dragon Kylee and I are starting off with a (relatively) short stack so I have time to add things on as the month goes!
