Rating: 4.5 / 5

THE WOMEN OF WILD HILL follows three women and the line of witchy women they come from. Wild Hill is a place where nature’s powers gather and it is the place that Sadie Duncan’s bloodline has been allowed to stay and thrive. When the current day Duncan sisters leave their home behind, it waits for their return.

Sisters Brigid and Phoebe grow distant, each leading a very different life. Phoebe’s daughter Sybil has never even been told about Wild Hill and their family’s powers. The Old One has grown restless and is tired of the way life has gone in this world, so she calls the Duncan women back to enact change.

I had heard that this as a witchy story full of female rage and revenge and it immediately got my attention. I am happy to report that i quickly got swept up in the story and binged through the entire thing in a day!

I loved how we got to know the main three women and their separate but still somewhat similar quests to use their powers for the good of other women. Each of them felt like a very distinct character. As the story goes along, we see flashbacks to the prior generations of women and what has driven this family apart in the current days. I was really hooked to see them come back together for the greater good and their revenge mission.
